Formation tiles have been installed in thousands of locations and has become a firm favourite amongst flooring contractors. The Formation tile is a heavy contract grade tile made from 100% Meraklon Polypropylene with a Mexphalte backing. Tiles are 500 x 500mm and come in boxes of 20.
There are a number of factors to bear in mind when choosing a product:
• The colour. Mid-range colours may perform better in heavy traffic areas than extreme dark or light colours
• The number of people that will walk on the product on a regular basis
• The level of soiling and spillages expected. Does the carpet need to be impermeable?
• The cleaning regime employed in the premises
• Whether castor chairs will be regularly used
All of these factors will affect the overall performance of a product over a period of time.
Further considerations that do not affect the overall performance of the product but which will still be important in the choice:
• Are there any special fire requirements?
• Will computers be used in the same area as the product ?
• Is a luxury or utilitarian look required?
• Is a patterned or plain product required?
• Are there any restrictions on space where the product is being fitted?
• What are the expectations of the user with regard to the flooring?
With so many factors to consider, making the right choice can sometimes be a difficult job. Our experienced Customer Services Team is available to help you with your choices and to further explain the factors listed above.
