Shire GB Garden Buildings Deliveries

After we receive your order we pass it on to the manufacturer to process. They will then contact you via both SMS & Email so it is important you supply these details and that they are accurate so as not to delay your order. These messages will contain a link that will direct you to the manufacturer's website where you can then book a suitable delivery date.

When do we deliver?

We will usually deliver between 8 am and 8 pm Monday to Friday.

Deliveries do not generally occur on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

How long will delivery take?

Estimated timescales for delivery are shown against all products but can occur sooner or sometimes later than the anticipated timescales.

An 'express delivery service' may be available (not available on all products), please contact us to discuss.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors.

May I change my delivery address?

In short, yes, providing the item has not already been despatched.

On what size truck will delivery be made?

We usually use small flatbed trucks for delivery. The driver will unpack the building.

Delivery of log cabins may be made on an 18T truck with a crane. There must be sufficient space for this vehicle to operate. If in doubt - please contact us to discuss.

If you have restricted access and delivery on a smaller vehicle would be more appropriate please contact us. We can always arrange this usually at no additional cost.

Where will your goods be delivered?

Delivery is kerbside. Our drivers are very helpful and will always try to leave the product as conveniently positioned as possible. We leave it entirely at the driver’s discretion whether or not it is suitable to drive onto your property.

What about packaging?

When buildings are delivered they are packed in a weatherproof wrapping and can stand outside quite satisfactorily for a reasonable time. Buildings may be delivered without a crane on a smaller vehicle and have to be off-loaded manually, and therefore un-packed. The driver will take away any packaging material if you would like him to.

Working Days Explained:

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (excluding any bank or national holidays) Any order placed on Saturday, Sunday or a bank or national holiday cannot be processed until the first working day after that and therefore will be treated as if ordered on that day. For example, an order placed on Saturday is treated as if it was ordered on Monday (unless Monday is a bank or national holiday) at 8 am.

Cut off Time Examples:

The cut off time for any Shire GB Garden Buildings is 2 pm so if an order is placed before 2 pm on Monday and the delivery time is 5 working days you will receive your goods the following Monday. If the order is placed after 2 pm the goods will be delivered on the following Tuesday (unless a later working day is selected at checkout).
