This Clip-fit section is designed to be friction fitted into any Rapide section, to enable double glazing. No mitring is required as the section can be square cut and friction fitted into head channel, base channel, door stiles, transoms and abutments - wherever glazing is needed. for double glazing. On one side the section is grooved to accept two PVC 280 glazing beads. When fire ratings are required 380 steel glazing bead lining sections sit concealed behind the PVC bead. This liners must be screwed through the sections and posts into internal steel 205 lining sections and the correct glazing and door details must be used to be compliant. Rapide easily integrates with drywall but utilises no steel stud or track components, or cover trims within its door or window composition. Aluminium post sections simply bracket or Clip Fit together, with no mitring required. Available in single of double glazed formats the system provides a sleek high performance finish and lightening-quick installation. The product has been tested to produce up to 44 (-3;-10) Rw (C;Ctr) sound insulation. The sections are produced in white RAL9010 and grey BS00A05 as standard, and are readily available.
