Damp Proof Course Membrane

DPC (or Damp Proof Course) are widely used in the construction of new builds, as a preventative method to rising damp and penetrating damp.

Approved Document C of Building Regulations suggests that any DPC membrane should be:

  • Continuous with any damp-proof membrane in the floor
  • A minimum of 150mm above the adjoining ground level (if in an external wall)
  • Should be 255mm above the cavity if the DPC level is in a cavity wall

DPC brands such as Visqueen may be required in masonry walls, in the joints between door and window frames and in suspended floors between timber and the materials underneath.

We stock plenty of Visqueen sheet, gas barrier, primer and top hat units, and much more. All of our damp-proofing products are high-quality, great value for money and will not let you down. We offer discounts for large quantity orders.
