DECKfon acoustic overlay treatments are specifically designed for conversion projects where the joist is covered with timber decking and the ceiling is being changed. They are also suitable for reducing the impact of sound transmission through a concrete floor. These soundproofing overlay boards come in three thicknesses: 17mm (17T), 26mm (26T), and 30mm (30T). All of these boards have been created to enhance the soundproofing performance of existing timber floors in refurbishment developments.

The DECKfon acoustic overlay boards are installed on top of a timber sub-deck, which is laid on timber floor joists. The boards feature a tongue and groove edge detail, facilitating easy and secure installation. Each board has a size of 1.44m2, and the overall weight is 13.4kg per m2.
