Plank Plasterboard

PLANK 19mm is a thicker version of standard plasterboard. PLANK consists of an aerated gypsum core encased in, and strongly bonded to, ivory or brown face paper liners.

This PLANK 19mm plasterboard is appropriate for dry lining internal surfaces or linings in places such as lift shafts, stairwells or auditoriums. It is moderately effective as a sound and moisture resistant plasterboard. It also provides a certain amount of resistance when exposed to temperatures above 49°C.

The British Gypsum GYPROC PLANK plasterboard (19mm) can be applied to walls or ceilings and is primarily designed for use as an internal layer in GypFloor and GypWall systems. It’s compliant with Building Regulations Document B with a designated Class 0 classification. It is only available with a square edge and in one universal size which covers 1.42m². It is easily fixable to timber and metal partitions.

The alternative board(s) you receive will be manufactured by either Knauf, GTEC or equivalent and will therefore be of premium quality.
