Essential Driveway Cleaner

Essential Driveway Cleaner is an increased performance outdoor cleaner designed to remove common grime, dirt, and stains from stone-based driveway surfaces. removes layers of grime, dirt, and lichen from your driveway in just 2 hours with some surface agitation. Also containing a biocide that aids in the elimination of plant substances between slabs/blocks, such as weeds, moss, leaf mulch, and so on. Allow the cleaner to encroach for 2-4 hours for spotless results, lightly reapplying water if the area begins to dry. After the cleaner has worked its way into the stone's surface layer, brush vigorously and/or pressure wash to thoroughly remove the engrained dirt, grime, and stains. Coverage varies depending on surface contamination, but when diluted 1:1, one 5L bottle should cover up to 50m2.

2. Essential Driveway Cleaner should be used neat or diluted 1:1 with clean water – always conduct a small test area to determine the appropriate dilution rate and time duration. Transfer the cleaning solution from the bottle to a pump sprayer or watering can with care. If none of these containers are available, cleaning fluid can be used directly from the bucket. Apply a generous amount.

3. The cleaning fluid should be left on the surface for at least an hour, and the area must not be allowed to dry during this time. If required, mist the driveway with added cleaning fluid or clean water to keep it from drying out. If needed, use a brush to work the staining area(s), but maintain a dampness on the surface at all times.

4. Leave for at least two hours.

5. For best results, after at least two hours of immersion time, the treated area should be washed down with clean water first to neutralise the cleaner before power washing off any left over solution. Please keep in mind that the cleaning fluid can be harmful or even kill any vegetation, so prevent splattering it on your garden or lawn grass. If this is unpreventable, rinse thoroughly with clean water to dilute the cleaner.

6. In areas with heavy soiling and stubborn black/white lichen spots, the retention time of Essential Driveway Cleaner may need to be extended to up to 4 hours, or overnight if necessary, before power washing off. To get perfect results on old, stubborn black/white lichen spots, test a small unnoticeable area to determine the dwell time needed to remove the marks, then follow the instructions above. It is possible that 2-3 applications will be required.
