Yes. We reserve the right to reject an order. This may be due to a number of reasons including but not limited to product availability, delivery location or product quantity purchased. On occasions like this, we will provide a full refund. 

Give our team a call on 01628 674 910 and we will find out what happened. If you have opened a trade account with us, you can contact your personal Trade Account Manager directly either by phone or email. 

Our standard delivery for in-stock items is typically 2-3 working days. However, this may vary depending on your location and the specific products ordered. Refer to our Delivery Options page or call your trade account manager for specific delivery updates.

Trade Account Management

Your Dedicated Account Manager is here to make your life easier. They’ll source exactly what you need, whether it’s a hard-to-find material or a bulk order, at competitive prices. No more chasing suppliers or dealing with delays; just a smooth, hassle-free process so you can focus on the job at hand.
If you open a cash trade account with us, the process takes two minutes. Simply fill out some details about yourself and your business. You can then start shopping for tools and materials within moments.
You can contact your Trade Account Manager between 7 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
If your Trade Account Manager is away or busy with another customer, either one of our knowledgeable colleagues can help you with your query. Alternatively, you can leave a message and your Trade Account Manager will call you back as soon as they are available.

Yes. If you are looking for something that is not listed on the Building Materials Nationwide website, your Trade Account Manager can reach out to our network of suppliers to source everything you need to get the job done.

Yes. As well as organising a speedy delivery to your home or on-site, your Trade Account Manager can also set up a collection at your local depot. They can talk you through how this works when you get in contact.

At Building Materials Nationwide, you can receive updates on your order by speaking to your Trade Account Manager. They will provide you with the latest information on your order status.
Your Dedicated Account Manager is here to help! They’ll work with you to arrange deliveries that fit your schedule, answer any questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Just reach out to them for support.
We understand that every project has unique requirements, so we offer flexible delivery solutions. Whether you need custom orders, specific delivery schedules, or last-minute adjustments, we’ll adapt to what works best for you.

We can organise another delivery for you. If the second delivery fails as well, charges will apply for any subsequent delivery attempts. These will be dependent on the delivery company. Please contact us if you have any questions or want to arrange another delivery.

Yes, weekend deliveries are possible. But we would need to know by Friday 10 am at the latest, before the delivery weekend. Please give us a call on 01628 674 910 to get this arranged. This will be subject to an additional delivery charge. 

Bank holiday deliveries are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us on 01628 674 910 to discuss your specific requirements and arrange this if possible.

If your order hasn’t arrived on the day specified on your order confirmation, please get in touch with us directly by phone at 01628 674 910 or by email at sales@buildingmaterials.co.uk. Alternatively, you can contact your Trade Account Manager who will be able to check the status and provide a solution.

If you place an order with us on a weekend or bank holiday, this will be processed the next working day (Monday to Friday). 

Product Availability

Products marked as ‘Limited Availability’ on our website may have longer processing and delivery times due to restricted or fluctuating supply. If you are unsure about the availability or lead time of a product with limited stock, our sales team is on hand to assist and provide the most up-to-date information.
Products marked as ‘Made To Order’ on our website are bespoke items that are manufactured specifically to your requirements. Examples include partitioning walls, office doors, and other custom-built products. Due to the nature of these bespoke products, lead times - including production and delivery - are typically longer than standard stock items. We recommend contacting our sales team for detailed information on current lead times and delivery schedules. Please be aware that made-to-order products are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are produced to meet individual specifications and cannot be restocked by our suppliers.
POA (Price on Application) products aren’t available to purchase online, as pricing is confirmed by our sales team - just get in touch and they’ll provide a tailored price and help place your order. For more details, please contact our sales team, who will be happy to assist you.
Discontinued products will be marked as ‘Discontinued’ on our website. Some discontinued products may still be available to purchase through certain suppliers who still hold legacy stock. If a product is no longer available, our sales team will be happy to help you find a suitable alternative.
