We also have a range of slab insulation suitable for use in external walls. From Kingspan, the K-Roc Rainscreen Slab HD is made from high-density rock mineral, for use behind rainscreen facades, such as a rainscreen exterior wall system. It has a specialist glass tissue facing on one side, designed to help repel water vapour. These slabs can be used in both new builds and the refurbishment of existing buildings, offering an A1 reaction to fire rating. 

 

They come in a range of sizes, with thicknesses ranging from 50mm to 150mm available through our website. We also offer the Rockwool Rainscreen Duo Fire Slab, designed for use in extreme weather conditions. These are designed to slot together, offering strong thermal insulation for rainscreen exterior wall systems. They are lightweight and easy to cut to size and fit within walls.
