What is Slab and Batt Insulation?

What Are Insulation Batts and Slabs Made From?

Insulation slabs are made from similar materials to insulation rolls, with the option to choose mineral wool, fibreglass, or sheep’s wool products. 

Mineral Wool

Mineral wool products are made from thin lengths of melted stone, formed into a variety of products. They offer a high level of thermal insulation, slowing the conduction of heat. Acoustic insulation slabs and batts can also be made with mineral wool.

Fibreglass
