The upper section of the CABRIO® balcony system is top hung (much like a top hung window would be) while the bottom section unfolds into a glazed balcony with side railings, that’s structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. Please note you do not have to have installed a VELUX top hung window to combine a CABRIO® window balcony, these are compatible with fixed slope windows as well.
Several window glazing within these VELUX balcony systems have toughened exteriors and laminated inner panes, meaning they are thoroughly resistant to harsh weather, corrosion and damage. These also offer excellent moisture protection and safety.
