Double-Sided Foam Tape is a pressure-sensitive foam mounting tape with an aggressive, solvent based rubber adhesive on both sides of a cross-linked EVA/PE copolymer. The tape is suitable for use on polyethylene, polypropylene and other difficult to bond surfaces. The liner is a 60lb Kraft paper. The material bonds well to low energy surfaces, is moisture resistant, and combines good initial tack with high shear and peel strength. Bond is permanent. Altro always recommends the use of W165 tape adhesion promoter be used on all substrates for a strong bond.
