Description
The EV100 is a standard-duty steel lintel designed for single-leaf external walls, providing solid structural support for openings such as windows and doors. This lintel must be propped for lengths above 3000mm to ensure proper load distribution and safety during construction.
Key Features:
- Material: Manufactured from mild steel (S275JR to BS EN10025-2:2004).
- Supergalv Coating: Hot-dip galvanized after fabrication, providing up to 50% more zinc protection compared to other coatings. The post-fabrication galvanizing process ensures there are no surfaces left with inferior paint protection, offering superior corrosion resistance and longevity.
- Fire Rating: 60 minutes (with a two-coat plaster finish).
