Description
Birtley Standard Duty Steel Cavity Wall Lintel - CB90HD is designed for cavity walls with a cavity width of 90-105mm and a 100mm inner and outer leaf. Manufactured by Birtley, this lintel offers excellent durability and protection with its hot-dip galvanizing process, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to other coatings.
The lintel is suitable for standard to medium duty loading conditions and ensures optimal thermal performance. It is insulated with expanded polystyrene, contributing to a BREEAM rating of A+.

- Fire Rating: Provides 60 minutes of fire resistance when finished with two coats of plaster.
- Installation Requirements: Must be bedded fully on bricklaying mortar and requires the use of a cavity tray for external walls.
- Optional Extras: Ultragalv coating (150µm), Stainless Steel (1.4301), reduced length flange, render mesh, and more.
- Minimum End Bearing: 150mm.
