British Gypsum Gyproc SoundBloc RAPID is a plasterboard with a higher density core,in a special dimensional configuration,used in the British Gypsum GypWall RAPID system for quick and high-performance internal wall installation in housing applications.
The Soundbloc Rapid board is designed to offer a higher density noise insulating core,which makes it ideal for use in housing applications where sound reduction is a critical requirement. Additionally,it is specifically designed to minimize manual handling issues for ceiling installations with its 1800mm length.
With a pale blue face paper and brown reverse side paper,the Soundbloc Rapid is available in tapered edge only and complies with EN 520 Type D and has a Thermal Conductivity of 0.25W/mK.
British Gypsum Glasroc Rigidur H ACTIVair is an extremely durable and resilient board available in square edge.
Its unique surface protects the boards from scratches and damage,yet is smooth enough to decorate directly without the need for surface treatments.
The Rigidur H is resistant to vandalism and has an excellent fixing strength that reduces the costs of repair. It is the outer board component in the GypWall EXTREME system,specifically suited to the most demanding high traffic areas of large school and hospital projects.
