Description
Essential Limestone Sealer Colour Boost is a high-performance stone sealer designed specifically for natural limestone surfaces. It is also suitable for other porous natural stones such as sandstone (with some exceptions) and slate. The environmentally friendly formula of Essential Limestone Sealer Colour Boost offers superior stain protection while subtly enhancing the natural colours and appearance of the stone. It is suitable for use on internal surfaces. Coverage varies depending on the type of surface, with an expected coverage of up to 15m² per litre per coat.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Preparation: Remove any loose debris from the work surface. Ensure you have adequate personal protection, including gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing.
- Cleaning: The surface must be completely clean and dry. Ensure the weather is favourable before beginning the work.
- Application: Use a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush, or sponge to apply the first coat of Essential Limestone Sealer Colour Boost. Do not dilute this product. After 20 to 30 minutes, fully remove any excess sealer from the surface.
- Second Coat: Apply a second coat 45 to 60 minutes after the first coat for the best results.
- Curing: Ensure the stone surface remains completely dry during the curing process, which can take up to 72 hours.
PLEASE NOTE: Some surfaces may change colour or appearance after using Essential Limestone Sealer Colour Boost; always test the product in an inconspicuous area first. Use masking tape to protect surfaces that will not be sealed. This product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone.
