Description

Essential Limestone Sealer Satin Finish is a high-performance stone sealer designed specifically for natural limestone surfaces. It is also suitable for other natural stones, such as slate and sandstone. This sealer provides a long-lasting, attractive satin finish that enhances natural colours and offers excellent stain resistance. It dries quickly and is simple to apply, providing high-quality protection by preventing stains and general grime from permeating the surface, making it easier to clean and maintain. The coverage varies depending on the surface type, but it should be up to 15m² per litre per coat.

HOW TO APPLY:

  1. Preparation: Remove any loose debris from the work surface. Ensure you have adequate personal protection, including gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing.
  2. Cleaning: Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry, and that the weather conditions are desirable before beginning.
  3. Application: Apply Essential Limestone Sealer Satin Finish lightly and smoothly with a low-pressure sprayer, microfibre mop, paintbrush, or soft cloth, taking care not to leave application traces or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute the product.
  4. Drying: Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. Apply the second coat in the opposite direction to create a consistent finish. Multiple coats can be applied if necessary to achieve a "gloss" finish.

PLEASE NOTE: Essential Limestone Sealer Satin Finish may cause colour changes on some surfaces; always test the product in an inconspicuous area before using it. Use masking tape to protect surfaces that are not to be sealed. This product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone. It is also not recommended for use on highly polished stone and ceramic glazed surfaces.
