Description
Essential Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost is a powerful stone sealer specifically designed for natural sandstone surfaces. It is also excellent for other porous natural stones such as limestone and slate. This environmentally friendly product offers high-quality stain protection while subtly enhancing natural stone hues to richer, more vibrant colors. It is suitable for both external and internal surfaces. However, please note that it is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone. Coverage will vary based on surface porosity, typically covering 4-6 square meters per liter.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Preparation: Remove any loose debris from the work surface before starting, and ensure you have adequate personal protection, such as gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing.
- Surface Cleaning: Ensure the surface is fully clean and dry, and that the weather conditions are suitable.
- Application: Apply the first layer of Essential Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost using low-pressure sprayers, rollers, natural fiber brushes, or sponges. Do not dilute the product. After 20 to 30 minutes, thoroughly remove any excess sealant from the surface.
- Second Coat: Repeat the treatment 45-60 minutes later with a second application. During the curing process, which can take up to 72 hours, keep the stone surface absolutely dry. Any moisture or water on the surface may cause the sealer to dry unevenly, potentially resulting in unsightly white areas.
PLEASE NOTE: The color and appearance of the stone surface will be altered by Essential Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost. Always test the product in an inconspicuous location prior to usage. Use masking tape to protect surfaces that will not be sealed.
