In metal stud partitions, flat bracing strip can be utilised to secure light switches, electrical sockets, and other lightweight fixtures. To protect cables that pass through stud apertures, etc., a grommet or trunking must be employed.

In addition to being incredibly fire resistant, flat wall bracing strips are easy to fasten to metal stud walls.
