Frost Blanket is a thermally insulated blanket that is perfect for winter concreting. It is made from chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam and reduces the amount of heat lost which keeps the concrete warm enough for curing. It effectively stops concrete freezing at temperatures below 5°C with no need to use specialist additives or heating devices. It is simply rolled directly onto wet concrete. It can also be used in summer to help protect against wind and surface moisture evaporation. It can also be used to protect gardens during the winter. Do not walk on mats during installation or before the concrete has set.
