The Ibstock Brick Birtley Olde English is a waterstruck brick used in most masonry situations. The distressed brick has moderate strength with low water absorption and is easy to lay. The Waterstruck bricks are manufactured using traditional process, with a unique texture due to the usage of water in the moulding and demoulding process. This brick is made from clay which have a high thermal mass and low conductivity and when incorporated into a building it gives it an acoustic insulation. Clay bricks have a long service life, are reusable after use and are highly durable and strong for many builds.

Delivery Information

We deliver bricks on a pallet using our standard network service. Deliveries are made to the kerbside—meaning the closest access road to your site.

For a successful delivery, the site must have a hard, flat surface to allow the tail lift to sit flush and enable a pallet truck to unload the goods. Please note, we cannot lift pallets over walls or fences, nor can we carry them to the rear of the property.

If you require a different delivery method, such as Hi-ab, crane, or handball offload, please contact us before placing your order to discuss your options and any additional costs.

In case a delivery is turned away due to incorrect vehicle selection or undisclosed site access issues, a failed delivery charge may apply. However, we will always contact you first to find a better solution.
