Description
The Ibstock Staffordshire is a blue smooth perforated facing brick. With its specifications and water absorption being 7% it is usually used as an engineering brick and are manufactured specially to be stronger and denser than ordinary bricks. The clay material makes the product durable and strong. It is suitable for domestic and commercial buildings. In addition, the brick is good for general purpose brickwork and is moderately frost resistant. It has compressive strength of 75N/mm2. Clay facing bricks when incorporated into a building gives an acoustic insulation.
This particular brick has a high thermal mass and low conductivity, contributing to the building's own efficiency. The product conforms to BS EN 1745 for water vapour permeability, BS EN 771-1 and BS EN 998-2. Other benefits include being cost effective and clay brick has a long service life, also re-usable upon destruction.

Delivery Information
We deliver bricks on a pallet using our standard network service. Deliveries are made to the kerbside—meaning the closest access road to your site.
For a successful delivery, the site must have a hard, flat surface to allow the tail lift to sit flush and enable a pallet truck to unload the goods. Please note, we cannot lift pallets over walls or fences, nor can we carry them to the rear of the property.
If you require a different delivery method, such as Hi-ab, crane, or handball offload, please contact us before placing your order to discuss your options and any additional costs.
In case a delivery is turned away due to incorrect vehicle selection or undisclosed site access issues, a failed delivery charge may apply. However, we will always contact you first to find a better solution.
