The Isocheck 14C is an overlay platform system that has a 52dB Impact Sound Insulation. This system is designed to reduce sound transmission including impact sound transmission and to improve acoustic performance of concrete floors.
The system includes a 9mm moisture resistant fibreboard with a coverage of 0.72m2 bonded to cross linked Isopoli that is only 5.5mm thick. When installed as part of a complete party floor construction the system is able to meet the values prescribed by the Approved Document E of the Building Regulations 2003 (including amendments in 2004 and 2010) but also in compliance with the Robust Detail.
