Rockwool Insulation

Rockwool Insulation

Rockwool stone wool insulation is a smart way to enhance energy efficiency, fire resilience and acoustic comfort in residential and commercial buildings. Made from volcanic rock and recycled slag, Rockwool insulation traps air particles exceptionally well to stop heat flow. It has a melting point of 1000°C (1832°F) and the non-combustible insulation meets strict fire safety standards. Even when exposed to extreme heat from an adjoining space, it prevents flame spread while insulating unaffected areas. This also provides reliable fire compartmentation. The sound-absorbing insulation also creates a noise barrier to contain acoustic transmission when installed within walls and floors. With a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of 0.9, it absorbs echoes and vibrations preventing them from transferring between rooms or from outside.
