Roof Tiles

Clay roof tiles remain a top roofing choice due to their natural beauty, durability and low maintenance requirements. Fired from all-natural clay materials, these tiles provide incredible longevity and resistance to weathering, fading and fire. 

Concrete and cement roof tiles offer the look and performance of clay at an affordable price point. Made from durable Portland cement combined with UV-resistant pigments, these tiles last up to 50-75 years. Concrete tiles have excellent wind, hail and freeze/thaw resistance. 

Man-made or synthetic slates provide the elegant appearance of natural quarried slate without the weight and cost concerns. Composed of recycled plastic, polymer-concrete or clay-based materials, these slates replicate the texture and dimensionality of real slate. 

Rubber Roofing

Rubber roofing membranes offer outstanding durability for low-slope and flat roof applications. Made from recycled rubber and plastic components, they are an environmentally friendly choice. Rubber's flexibility allows it to seamlessly cover roof planes, parapet walls and penetrations.

One of the biggest advantages of rubber roofing is its incredible resistance to UV radiation, ozone and temperature extremes. In addition, it exhibits impressive physical properties by  withstanding impacts that may puncture or tear other roof membranes. 

Rubber roofing also has natural fire-retardant properties for added protection. These roofing systems require little maintenance beyond basic cleaning and inspecting flashings and terminations periodically.

Fibreglass Roofing

Fibreglass roofingproducts offer exceptional strength and durability. The composition of woven fibreglass mats coated with asphalt or polymers creates a robust material. Fibreglass is resistant to moisture, heat, impact damage and harsh UV rays.

Because the reinforcing mat is made of non-combustible glass fibres, these products have outstanding fire ratings, often Class A. With proper installation, quality fibreglass roofing systems can easily provide 30-50 years of service life. 

The dimensional stability of fibreglass prevents warping, cracking or deterioration from temperature swings. Compared to traditional materials, fibreglass roofing weighs much less. Modern fibreglass roofing products leverage advanced polymer-modified coatings for enhanced flexibility. 

Flat Roof Waterproofing

Effective waterproofing is critical for protecting flat roof assemblies from leaks and moisture damage. Quality flat roof waterproofing products create a seamless, monolithic barrier over the full roof surface to prevent water infiltration. 

Modern waterproofing membranes are composed of advanced rubberised asphalt or synthetic rubber compounds for superior weathering ability. They expand and contract with temperature fluctuations and their low moisture permeability protects roofing insulation from becoming saturated.

Flat roof waterproofing systems also provide excellent physical properties. Many are formulated to be puncture and tear-resistant to stand up to roof traffic and impacts. Some products contain reinforcing fabrics or chemistries that enhance their overall durability.

Roof Insulation

Proper roof insulation is essential for an energy-efficient building envelope. Insulation in the roof assembly provides critical thermal resistance to reduce heat transfer. In addition, quality roof insulation plays a key role in managing moisture and condensation issues. 

Rigid board insulation offers continuous insulation in unvented loft applications. For flat or low-slope roof systems, insulation boards provide high R-values. The roof insulation ranges from rigid polymer boards to polyisocyanurate (PIR) with reinforced facers providing fire resistance.
