Fibreboard

Fibreboard

Fibreboards comprise of wood fibres and adhesives, wth typical examples being hardboards and pinboards (otherwise known as notice boards). They provide many benefits, such as:

- Impact and thermal insulation

- Being light weight and easy to handle

- Are a cheaper option than wood

- Help stabilise the floor, reducing ridges and uneven surfaces

Hardboard (HDF)

Hardboard (or high-density fibreboard) is a much stronger and denser board than MDF (medium-density fibreboard). Highly compressed and using exploded wood fibres, the hardboard we provide at Building Materials are high quality and can be used for a variety of purposes, including flooring, sub-flooring and partitions.

Pinboards

We also provide pinboards that can be used in a variety of situations, including domestic and commercial properties. These have great retention capabilities and outstanding pin insertions, while also being made of recycled materials for greater sustainability.
