Screwdriver Insert Bits & Adaptors

It's fair to say you might be a little screwed without screwdriver insert bits — otherwise known as screwdriver adaptors. These are the detachable metal parts attached to screwdrivers that are used for inserting and removing screws. All screws have a head with a contour that, with the application of a little torque from a screwdriver (namely the insert bit), causes the screw to rotate.
