Sawn timber is the most ideal timber product for internal construction work. Pine and spruce wood timber are significantly lighter than most structural materials, while still offering a superb level of support in flooring.

Rough sawn timber has come from wood that has been cut to basic sizes using a circular saw. The edges and sides, as the name suggests, are rough. Given that this product can often be sent for further, more accurate work being done (such as planning) these sawn timber sheets can also be used for non-structural projects at this point. These types of wood can be purchased either planed or sawn.

Rough sawn wood is frequently used on building sites, where the respective wood surface finishes are unlikely to be seen. It’s not unusual for companies and businesses to plane the wood themselves.

All rough sawn timber planks that we manufacture have been responsibly sourced, meaning they carry an eco-friendly footprint with them. We stock various sawn timber sizes; this type of timber is available in a wide variety of thicknesses, each coming in a range of widths and lengths to choose from. Our sawn timber prices are calculated per linear metre. We also stock C16 and C24 joists for sawn and treated timber, for additional support.
